On 3rd January 2026 a grand and successful health camp on the screening of cervical cancer and breast cancer was conducted at Aalapot. The program was organized in collaboration with Krishna Pranami Baijura Mahila Samuha, with technical support provided by National Hospital.
The health camp focused on early detection and awareness of women’s health issues. As part of the program, free Pap smear tests were conducted, and a total of 105 participants successfully underwent screening. The initiative received an encouraging response from the local community, reflecting the growing awareness and importance of preventive healthcare.
The program was made possible through the dedicated efforts of healthcare professionals, organizers, and volunteers who ensured the smooth and effective execution of the camp.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers for their valuable support: Khinu Maya Bista Adhikari, Vijaya Shakya, Rejina Shrestha, Maya Nagarkoti and Diya Kafle. Their commitment and service played a crucial role in the success of the program.
Such health camps contribute significantly to early diagnosis, prevention, and promotion of women’s health, and we look forward to organizing similar initiatives in the future.
