A follow-up program on tree plantation, preservation and fertilisation was conducted on 8 November 2025 in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok. The event aimed to monitor the condition of previously planted saplings and ensure their healthy growth through timely maintenance activities.

Participants from the local community, students, municipal staff, and environmental volunteers inspected the plantation area, evaluated sapling survival, and carried out preservation tasks such as weeding, soil loosening, and replacing damaged plants. Organic compost and nutrient-rich fertilisers were applied to enhance plant growth and strengthen root development.

The program also included a short awareness session on the importance of post-plantation care and long-term environmental conservation. Participants expressed commitment to continue regular monitoring of the plantation site.

Overall, the follow-up program was productive, helping to improve sapling health, encourage community engagement, and support Dhulikhel’s efforts toward creating a greener and more sustainable environment
