Rajni Gupta’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a Trustee of a prominent NGO is both inspiring and transformative. Born and married in a small village, Rajni’s early life was marked by hardship. However, her unwavering determination and vision led her to motivate her husband to relocate to a city, seeking better opportunities for their family.

Dr Andrew Davies is an experienced senior academic leader with wide international teaching and research experience. He has lectured and presented at academic conferences in more than a dozen countries and overseen and managed million-pound projects in collaboration with major international businesses. He also has over 30 years experience of working in faith communities, including in challenging and deprived urban environments. Dr Davies’s academic expertise is focused on the power of religion and other value systems in inspiring people to make a difference in the world, particularly in taking up roles in public life and in socially responsible leadership.

Iqra Fatima is passionate about mental health care. She aims to contribute in breaking the societal stigma attached to mental illness and improving the access to its care, especially for the marginalized communities. She holds a Master's degree in psychology from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and pursued the Psychology STAR Scholars Program at the University of Michigan, USA. Her wide experience includes various clinical and research internships, including working as an Academic Associate at the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta and undertaking a six-months fellowship at the LedBy Foundation, incubated at Harvard University. Iqra also enjoys playing badminton, painting, and cooking new cuisines. She's a nature lover, likes traveling, and is fond of a healthier lifestyle.
Shraddha Singh is a research scholar at the University School of Humanities and Social Sciences, GGSIPU in New Delhi. Her scholarly pursuits are centered around the representation of cityscapes in literature, with a primary focus on the city of Lucknow and the province of Awadh. Her research interests span several domains, including travel writings and Hindi literature. Beyond literature, she has a profound interest in exploring the intermingling of threads, particularly in Indian textiles and handloom traditions. She believes that love, compassion and empathy are the most pivotal threads in the tapestry of human civilization and is committed to promoting these crucially important values through her work with IFF and in all aspects of her life.
Nalini Bhattar is a research scholar at the Advanced Centre for Women’s Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Her research domain is Educational Migration. Her research focuses on female student migrants and tries to have a critical understanding of their experiences, difficulties and prejudices they face in the new habitat. Nalini is deeply committed to the advancement of women’s rights and opportunities, and through her chapters, papers, articles and poems and has contributed to different websites like Feminism In India, Youth Ki Awaz, Women’s Web, Delhi Poetry Slam, etc. You can often find her advocating equality for all, sipping chai, and turning pages of her favourite books with her dog lazing around her.
Dr Suresh Kunwar is originally from Tikapur, Kailali, and currently residing in Thamel, Kathmandu. He completed his MBBS from Universal College of Medical Sciences, Bhairahawa, affiliated to Tribhuvan University. He was honored to get the title of Mr. UCMS in 2017, showcasing his active involvement beyond academics. He currently works at NIMS Institute, where he is passionate about mentoring and instructing students as they get ready for civil service and licensure examinations, with a focus on staff nurses and health assistants.
Yantisha is a dedicated social science researcher with a profound passion for gender studies and social justice. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, where she graduated with a strong academic record including studies at the IMPRI Gender Impact Studies Centre and an impactful research project on gender-based violence. Her professional experience is enriched with various academic and social initiatives, equipping her with a diverse skill set which supports IFF’s work in so many areas. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Yantisha finds joy in dancing and sketching, and is passionate about exploring new ideas, engaging in community work, and advocating for a more inclusive society.
Susan Shrestha is from Kathmandu, Nepal. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Home Science with a specialization in Food and Nutrition at the Central Department of Home Science, Tribhuvan University. She has a diverse professional background, having worked as a Marketing Executive for a medical equipment importer and distributor for about four years. Currently, she is leveraging her skills as a Digital Content Writer for an education consultancy whilst supporting the work of IFF in Nepal.
Sharmila Maharjan is from Kathmandu, Nepal. Currently she is working as a Senior Scientific Executive from Yetichem, a franchise of Sanofi. Her career as a medical representative has spanned more than 15 years already, and she has completed her Masters Degree in Home Science, with a specialization in Food and Nutrition from the Central Department of Home Science, Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu.
Dr. Zenisha Rajbhandari, from Kathmandu, Nepal, is a medical doctor who completed her Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Sylhet woman’s medical college, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Growing up in a town surrounded by cultural heritage, she has always been intrigued by the stories of my town and has actively participated as a volunteer from Nepal Red Cross in different culture based programs. She has also keenly participated in and conducted multiple health camps for the betterment of our society. Now, she aspires to do the same and more for the Inclusive Futures Foundation. She currently works at Sylhet Woman’s Medical College as an intern doctor, doing her best to serve the needy.
