On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivaratri, a special service program for the distribution of water and prasad to devotees was jointly organized by IFF and the Dhanwantari Samaj at the Dhanwantari Temple, located near the revered Pashupatinath Temple.

The program was held on 15th February 2026 at 4:00 PM, drawing the participation of dedicated volunteers and a large number of devotees who had gathered to celebrate the sacred festival. Mahashivaratri, one of the most significant Hindu festivals, witnessed an overwhelming turnout of worshippers seeking blessings at the holy shrine.

IFF volunteers actively contributed to the smooth execution of the event by organizing the distribution counters, managing the crowd efficiently, and ensuring that water and prasad were served in a systematic and respectful manner. Their coordinated efforts, along with the support of the Dhanwantari Samaj, reflected a strong spirit of community service and devotion.

The initiative aimed to provide comfort and refreshment to devotees observing fasts and participating in long hours of worship. The atmosphere was filled with devotion, unity, and a sense of collective responsibility.
