On August 24, the Inclusive Future Foundation (IIF) organized a “Culture Connect” event at Navatandham (Shree Krishna Pranami Temple) with the help of Ms. Khina Maya Bista Adhikari, Ms. Rajini Rajbhandari, Ms. Sharmila Maharjan, and Dr. Zenisha Rajbhandari. Gurukul students actively participated in the event, learning about Lord Krishna’s life and devotion. The event was scheduled to coincide with Krishna Janmashtami, enhancing its significance. Ms. Bista Adhikari, who is spiritually connected to the temple, beautifully coordinated the program.

Navatandham Shree Krishna Pranami Temple, located in Gothatar, Kathmandu, Nepal, is a prominent temple in the Pranami sect, devoted to Lord Krishna and following the teachings of the Nijananda Sampradaya. It symbolizes devotion, culture, and community, significantly impacting the spiritual lives of its followers.

The “Culture Connect” event aimed to deepen Gurukul students’ understanding of Lord Krishna’s life and teachings, encouraging devotion, righteousness, and the importance of Krishna Janmashtami. The session deepened students’ understanding of Lord Krishna and his life. Purushottam Maharaj Ji’s enlightening prabachans guided students towards righteousness, devotion, and spiritual understanding rooted in Pranami tradition. Storytelling, devotional singing, and interactive discussions on Krishna’s life and teachings engaged students. Colorful pictures of Lord Krishna showcased their creativity. An engaging prayer session and quiz centered around his life and teachings further illuminated their knowledge. The event fostered a deeper appreciation for Krishna Janmashtami’s spiritual and cultural significance, promoting community, dedication, and spiritual development. The organizers’ teamwork and students’ passionate participation made it a remarkable celebration of culture and spirituality.
