Awareness programme on Child Rights

14th February 2025, The IFF organized an awareness programme on child rights at Parwati School Dhumkhadhga Kavre. Child rights are the fundamental freedoms and protections that every child is entitled to, regardless of their nationality, background, or circumstances. These rights include the right to education, survival, health care, and protection from abuse and exploitation. Recognized internationally through the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), these rights aim to ensure that every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment where they can develop to their full potential. The event addressed the school children educating them about their rights provided by national and international agencies. Advocate Gita Thapa interacted with the students and made them aware about various rights like right to protection, right to survival, right to education.
