Awareness program on hygiene, sanitation, and menstrual education for visually impaired women and children. On 25th April 2025 Inclusive Futures Foundation and Lions Club of Kathmandu Parikalpana in collaboration organized an awareness program for visually impaired people. The IFF believes in living dignity and independence therefore, through accessible programs and community engagement, we are trying to break down barriers and build a more inclusive future. The event focused on the importance of personal hygiene, food hygiene, and environmental hygiene. It also emphasized on the proper waste management and the appropriate use of toilets. Visually impaired mothers and adolescent girls were taught how to maintain menstrual hygiene. Dr. Anupama Rai engaged with people through a presentation, and later, an interactive session was conducted, which encouraged peer learning. We thank our volunteers for making the event a great success.
