On 29th May 2025 Inclusive Futures Foundation organised an awareness programme for the women of self-help group at Jawan Block, Aligarh. The programme was designed for the financial literacy of women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Financial literacy is a critical tool for empowerment, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about their money, manage resources effectively, and plan for a secure future. For women in SHGs, who are often at the forefront of household financial management and micro-entrepreneurship, enhanced financial knowledge can significantly improve their economic independence, reduce vulnerability, and contribute to the overall well-being of their families and communities.
President, IFF Dr. Juhi Gupta encouraged women of SHGs to start their small-scale business and assured that Inclusive Futures Foundation will offer every possible help in their entrepreneurial journey. The programme trainer Prof. Mohammad Shamin who is a SEBI certified trainer highlighted, the importance of saving and said that the 3 most profitable investments are to invest in gold, land and mutual funds.

The financial literacy programme for women of Self-Help Groups is a crucial initiative for fostering economic empowerment and sustainable development. Inclusive Futures Foundation generated awareness about schemes provided by the Government of India for underprivileged people by distributing pamphlets in the community. By providing women with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively, it not only strengthens individual households but also enhances the collective volume of SHGs to drive community-level change. The programme was a great success with around 50 people participating in the event and with the valuable contribution of IFF volunteers Ms. Sana, Ms. Ishrat, Ms. Shiza Fardeen, Mr. Qayyum, Mr. Aijaz, and Dr. Waseem.
